Today I'm posting the reading I did based on my own Lammas Celebration Tarot Spread (in-depth descriptions of the card positions in the spread post). I chose to work with the Simply Deep Tarot deck by James Battersby and Chanel Bayless.
1. Theme - The Tower. A Major. So much has happened in such a short amount of time (I'm talking about 2012!) that The Tower seems almost inevitable. A chain reaction of some sort has been set in motion and soon I'll find both what the catalyst was as well as what remains after the lightning has struck.
2. Chaff - I clearly need a holiday. All this mental activity à la Knight of Swords has led to the beginnings or a proper burn-out.
3. Wheat - 10 Swords. Yep, I'm reaping a burn-out. Also, this card happens to be the central card in my Solar Return reading for 2012. Apt. Sorry, did I sound a bit snarky? I'm only human. 10 of Swords lessons aren't pleasant. But I'm still here and I'm learning to surrender...
4. Stewardship - The Empress. I'll get back into Nature and take the children with me. Family time away from the computer. Nurturing myself back to health so that there will be enough of me to go around to nurture those in my care, including the cat and the budgies :)
5. Giving - The Fool. Give others the gift of freedom and fun! Don't plan what will happen every day of the summer holidays. Go with the flow.
6. Celebrating - Hahahaha! I'm looking at the two dudes at the table celebrating and the thief sneaking off with their swords. Looks like I won't be able to let my guard down completely.
Happy Lammas and have a great summer, everyone! See you back here in a couple of week's time!

I hope you have been having a good holiday! Lovely instagram posts! Doing this reading for myself has been quite affirming and healing, what a blessing. <3
Thanks Jenny, I could do with a proper holiday now. A cottage in some remote village without Internet access would be ideal. :D
So pleased you enjoyed the reading!
Blessings, Lisa <3
